About Site

This site opened on December 4, 2006. I wanted to open this fansite first off because I haven't really found any fansites for this series, let alone in English; hence this site would be one of the first fansites dedicated to this series. One my MAJOR issues that I had with this site was that I had to delay the opening of this site. Originally, this site was supposed to be opened sometime during the last week of November, but because the layout that I wanted to use was giving me MAJOR issues. -__-;

While I was coding it, a part of the layout was JUST not cooperating, so I knew that I needed to find someone to help me with it. I posted in the La Corda D'Oro LJ community to see if anyone could perhaps could help me with the coding; as well as asking a few of my friends to help me with it. I give uber thanks to both Yunaura and my friend Sam for helping me with coding this EVIL layout. Because of them, I was finally able to open this site... after a week's delay on December 4.

The original name of the site, when it first opened, was "Musical Secret," but I didn't really like the name. I suppose if I thought about it that it could work, but I still didn't like it. That's when I decided if I could get some help with suggestions for the new name. After having the poll for the new site's name suggestions for a little over a month, I guess, I finally decided on the new name. "Crescendo" was the name that clearly had the most votes, so beginning with Version 2.1, the site's now called "Crescendo." I'm not sure if the reason the new name won the most votes was because it's the name of the anime series's Ending song, but nonetheless, I like the name now, so I've got no plans on renaming the site again. ^^
